Import shortcuts

You can easily add shortcuts from a file to your existing configuration. Only the keys defined in the file will be changed – your remaining settings will be retained.

Here’s how it works:

1. Open Darkable: Start Darktable and click on the top right Gear icon (Presets).
2. Shortcuts menu: Switch to the tab in the settings window shortcuts.
3. Import: Click on the button at the bottom right “Import…”.
4. Select: Navigate to the downloaded file e.g.. shortcutsrc_pro.txt and open it.

This is happening now:
Darktable reads the new commands and updates your key assignment.

• New commands: are added.
• Conflicts: If a key has already been assigned, the setting from the new file wins.
• The rest: All shortcuts that not in the file (e.g. your light table settings), remain unchanged.
